About Us
The Forest View Acres Water District is a Colorado Special District
local government entity governed by its
Board of Directors. The BOD consists of five publicly elected Board
Members. Elections of the four year term positions are held every two years.
The Board meets monthly on the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:00
p.m. at the Tri-Lakes Fire Station #1 on Highway 105.
Special meetings are sometimes held at the discretion of the board. When
these meetings are scheduled, they are posted per CRS 32-1-903 in the
three approved public posting places of the Forest View Acres Water
District. The posting locations are:
- Nevins Park off Sunburst Drive at the picnic pavilion
- Shiloh Pines neighborhood sign on Shiloh Pines Drive
- Bus shelter on the corner of Sandstone Drive and Pixie Park
The public is welcome at any or all meetings.
The BOD is charged with appointing
District
Management and District Water Operations. Together they oversee the
governmental, financial, administrative, and water operations of the
District. The District Manager reports to the BOD and has oversight in
carrying out the day to day operations of the District as set forth by
the Board of Directors.
