Locates
The District is a member of the Utility Notification Center of Colorado (UNCC) which requires
72-hour
notice before digging/excavation. In addition to locating main distribution and
collection pipelines, the District is working on building a current set
of maps to be used and maintained as field-verified drawings of water
connections to the central systems. After tap fees have been paid and
the tap has been completed, a FVAWD field representative will inspect
the installation, take appropriate measurements, and enter these
measurements onto the master map for FVAWD. The District is not
responsible for locating private
service lines.
